Ho ho ho - Green Dragon.

Ahem. I like the lunchtime food here; the burgers are tasty and decently-priced. It can get quite smoky inside, although it won't be long before that comment is irrelevant. Outside is a lovely spot, although in the summer you'll be fighting for those seats!

I've eaten at the Green Dragon and can confirm that the food there is very good -- though the place can get quite busy at times, especially in the summer. An ideal location from which to admire passing boat crews, of course ;-)

Thanks very much to Jamie for kicking off with the pub reviews on this site! Pubs fit in very well with bike rides -- it's good to have somewhere to aim for at the end of all that cycling, and it's always useful to know of new places outside of the city centre.

If you're reading this and fancy writing a short review of a pub within cycling distance of Cambridge or Ely, drop me a line via a comment on this or another post...
