You clearly love Cambridge. I commission books for The History Press and am currently looking for someone to write a pocket miscellany about the city of Cambridge. Would you be interested? It is quite picture-driven, and needs to be full of interesting facts about the city.

Thank you Gary -- it's really kind of you to get in touch! I'm glad you enjoyed it -- and that you've discovered the vast collection of audiobooks that Librivox are building up. You may just have inspired me to read a chapter for another book, soon!

My comment has nothing to do with cycling, but everything to do with your contribution to the Librivox recording of Hard Times, by Charles Dickens.
I got up to part 9, and was about to give up and look for a version read by an actor, when you started reading. Your fluency, your modulation of pace, pitch and power, your passion and feeling convinced me to stay on, and listen to the rest. You brought the novel to life, and I thank you for it. Some other readers were too fast, too hard, too technical, and some - just downright bad. Your contribution was excellent. Well done!
