About Fenland Rides
The land around Ely and Cambridge is flat. Very, very flat. This makes the region ideal for cycling: be this a leisurely ride around the countryside, or a more active spot of pedalling in an attempt to get fit.
When I first moved to Ely I looked on the web for suggested cycle rides that other people had enjoyed, but found there to be none out there so far. This site aims to resolve that by posting details of the different rides that I go on, in the hope that this might be useful or interesting to other cyclists out there. It might have the secondary benefit of shaming me into cycling rather more often, as well…
